Diversity Champions
Over 340 employees volunteered to be Diversity Champions. An email distribution list was formed to keep the champions informed as to our diversity events and programming. We generally defined a diversity champion as someone who:
- Works to live in the role of diversity change agent as often as possible by using the HEAT and STOP models
- Will be informed regarding cultural and diversity related events on campus
- Promotes events to the best of their ability
- Will participate in a pilot of Phase III training in the Spring of 2008
