Seated Workstation/Office Setup Tips
In order to help create a workstation that is ergonomically beneficial, it is important to position each of the various pieces of equipment within your workstation to fit your body rather than trying to fit your body to the equipment.
Proper adjustment of the various components of a workstation to fit you will be easier if you make the adjustments in the following order: Chair, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Document Holder, Workstation Items, and Phone.
The tips that follow assume that your computer has a separate monitor, keyboard and mouse. If you use a laptop you will not be able to adjust either the screen or the keyboard properly.
